Catching Matua Up...

Hi Matua Ryan,

Since you have been on your cool trip over in Sydney you don't know what we did over the week, but luckily we can tell you what's been up. Firstly, we have been doing some quizzes with Mr A, some of them were quite hard and some were easy. Secondly, we practised heaps for celebration assembly and we did pretty good. Finally, were all happy your back Matau Ryan.

Sincerely Te Ohu

Rhino Run Away

Rhino Run Away

“Charge!” he screamed feeling mighty atop a lead a rhinoceros. He jolted with every step they took, the rhino’s feet punching into the baking hot sand, sending up large clouds into the humid air so that he could taste the grains of sand in his parched mouth. But it all began when there was a kid named Preston. He lived in Africa and always went out playing with his pet rhinos in the dessert.

One day he ran away from his home with his rhinos because his parents were telling him to do heaps of jobs. When Preston could no longer see the village it started to get so hot and sunny that sweat was dripping off their foreheads. Preston and all the rhinos had no food, water or shade. They all started to faint, it was getting way too hot, they had to find shelter fast! The sun was falling towards the far away horizon, they had nothing, no lights, no food,
they just had nothing.

All of a sudden there were 10 bandits surrounding the sleeping group. The bandits were trying to take the rhinos because their tusks were sharp and could be sold for millions of dollars, and they are really rare, but they all forget that rhinos fight back so they just got destroyed. Now they got food and Plenty of water but... they still need shelter, so Preston the rhinos went back to the village and they lived happily ever after.

The End
